Dr. Benjaporn Narupai received her PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2018, where she worked with Professor Craig Hawker on polymer brushes via light-mediated polymerization. Discrimination between enantiomers is achieved by tip-enhanced Raman scattering using a silver tip that is chemically modified by an achiral para-mercaptopyridine (pMPY) probe molecule.
