Dr. Varol Intasanta received his PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, USA. in 2007, where he worked with Professor Bian E. Coughlin and Processor Thomas P. Russel on organic-inorganic hybrid self-assembled block copolymers from Atom-Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP) and their thin film applications. Dr. Varol began as a researcher at the National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand, starting October 2007. He then moved to Chemistry department, Chulalongkorn university in August 2024, to hold a lecturer position. His research focuses on nano-enable sustainable materials, bionanocomposites, functional fibers and textiles.
