Dr. Panawan Vanaphuti received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2022, where she worked with Professor Yan Wang on high-energy layered oxide cathodes for lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. After graduation, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin, working with Professor Arumugam Manthiram on various cathode syntheses and developments for lithium-ion batteries, including high-nickel layered oxides, manganese-based spinel, and lithium manganese iron phosphates. Dr. Panawan began as a faculty member of the Chemistry Department at Chulalongkorn University in August 2024 and is interested in enhancing materials for lithium-ion and beyond lithium-ion batteries.
